leopard and pink- the world is coming to an end

recently I questioned a local publisher as to why the professional women in a recent photo shoot were required to wear black suits. he said, in an email, what would happen if they showed up in leopard and pink?

the world would end and the terrorists would win, that is what would happen if a professional women wore leopard or pink.

hard to believe in this day and age that women are told what to wear. professional women, in their 40′s, 50′s, 60′s,  have to be told what is appropriate?

why? teh tv show mad men is set in the early 60′s and women are far from equal in the workplace. their pointy bras are as odd looking as the drinking and smoking in the office.

take away teh clothes and lifestyle, and how much as changed? if women wore leopard or pink would it be the end of the world?
